All of Fly By Night Guide Service’s trips are 100% Catch And Release. The waters we fish are sustained by natural reproduction, and we feel it is necessary to release all fish to insure the health these quality fisheries.
Upper Brule River Float
 The Upper Brule River offers wonderful fishing for wild brook trout, brown trout and a few resident rainbow trout. Gently winding through conifer bogs, mixed with a few gentle riffles and small rapids, it’s hard to find a more beautiful setting to fish in.
Whether you like to fish the hatches, or throw streamers and attractors, the Brule has something for you.
Fly By Night Guide Service has been specializing in “night floats” on this water for almost 20 years. There is nothing in fishing quite like the sound of a big brown trout exploding on a deer hair mouse in the middle of the night. It can give even the most seasoned angler a case of the shakes!
 Because these floats are done in a canoe, we recommend one angler per canoe. Please inquire about multiple guide and multiple day discounts.
All of our full day floats include an expertly prepared shore lunch.
Brule River Steelhead
The Brule River offers some of the finest fishing for WILD steelhead in the Great Lakes Basin. The Lower Brule River’s appearance is quite different from that of the upper river, though no less beautiful.
It has miles of beautiful runs, pools and rapids, bordered by high banks and towering Norway and White Pines. These trips are almost always walk and wade trips. Nymphing produces the best results.
A cold lunch is provided on all full day steelhead trips
Drift Boat Smallmouth Bass.
 Northwestern Wisconsin and Northeastern Minnesota offer some of the finest smallmouth bass fishing in the world. Fish average 14 to 15 inches, with fish from 18 to 20 inches fairly common, throw in an occasional musky or pike and you have the recipe for a great day on the water. It’s hard to have more fun than catching smallies on top water flies. Fly By Night Guide Service uses Clackacraft Drift Boats exclusively.
Cast and Blast trips for 2010
 For the fall of 2010 Fly by Night Guide Service will be offering Combination Steelhead fishing and Grouse hunting trips. You will have your choice of going hunting over either a fine young German shorthaired pointer or a fine English Cocker Spaniel.
The Brule River State Forest boasts some tremendous grouse hunting, literally minutes away from great Steelhead Water.
